18year old undergraduate stabs father to death

An undergraduate of University of Ilorin Olanrewaju Aremu stabbed his father, Victor Aremu to death. It occured on May 1, 2013 at Langbasa, Ajah, Lagos state, where the suspect lives with the family. The suspect Olanrewaju was expelled from UNILORIN because of poor grades and have been working with his father who was a civil engineer. His father said he will be working with him until he could get admission to another school but this did not go down well with Olanrewaju. He layed ambush for his father and stabbed him 10 times all over his body when his dad was about entering his room. It took the intervention of the neighbours to wrestle the knife from him. When asked why he killed his father, he said his dad doesn't love him and boosted he is only 18yrs old that he cannot be prosecuted. But he has been detained at the Langbasa police division.
