Brothers arraigned for raping 17-year-old

Two brothers, Oluwatobilola Muse and Oluwaseun Muse, and their friend, one Rasak Aare, have been arraigned before an Ebute Meta Magistrate’s Court for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl.
The three defendants were arraigned on a three counts of rape and attempted rape.
The police said the incident happened at Railway Compound, Ebute Meta, Lagos State, on 22 September, 2013.
It was learnt that the victim was 18-year-old Oluwatobilola’s girl friend.
He was said to have arranged with his elder brother, Oluwaseun,23, and Aare, 20, to rape her because she refused to allow him sleep with her since they started dating.
The victim had gone to visit Oluwatobilola when she was abducted and taken behind a filling station in the area.
However, people in the neighbourhood heard the cries of the minor and came to her rescue.
The charges read in part, “That you, Rasak Aare, Oluwatobilola Muse, Oluwaseun Muse, on the 22 September, 2013 at 1530hrs, at CI Quatres behind filling station Railway Compound in the Lagos Magisterial District did unlawfully and forcefully have sexual intercourse with one (name withheld) 17 years old.”
The men pleaded not guilty.
The magistrate, Ms S.O Solebo, granted them bail in the sum of N200,000.
